ACCUCOMS is attending the 1st International Congress of Academic and Specialized Libraries COBAES 2017 from August 2-4, 2017 at Polytechnic Colombian Jaime Isaza Cadavid, Medellín, Colombia.
The COBAES 2017 seeks to foster a training scenario for dialogue and reflection on knowledge and experiences where librarians, professionals, students and other stakeholders, strengthen links and harmoniously and cooperatively promote development, and achieve recognition of the action Which academic and specialized libraries exercise over individuals and communities.

Three broad themes, framed within IFLA’s social responsibility program, and the objectives of the UN Agenda 2030: Social responsibility, Access to information, Copyright and Intellectual Property, ODS, Cooperation, Investigation, Digital collections; Academic Repositories, Open Data, Metadata and Cataloging, Scientific Visibility, TIC, Training, R & D in libraries, Innovation, CRAI, Extension, Inclusion, Promotion of reading and writing, Access to culture, Methodology.

The themes of the event will be developed through master lectures by national and international experts, presentation of successful experiences and participatory spaces such as forums and panels.
