Leiden, The Netherlands – ACCUCOMS is delighted to announce that the University of Chicago Press will be expanding their cooperation with ACCUCOMS. ACCUCOMS will be responsible for bringing the acclaimed Chicago Manual of Style Online and Scientific Style and Format Online – in addition to the University of Chicago Press’s journals portfolio – to libraries in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and South Korea.

ACCUCOMS is a worldwide provider of sales and marketing services to academic and professional publishers since 2004. ACCUCOMS today brings more than 50 different publishers’ content to librarians.

The Chicago Manual of Style Online is the venerable, time-tested guide to style, usage, and grammar in an accessible online format. It is the indispensable reference for writers, editors, proofreaders, indexers, copywriters, designers, publishers, students, and researchers.

Scientific Style and Format Online is an essential reference for those who need to communicate science and technical information.

The 17th edition of The Chicago Manual of Style will be published in September 2017. To ensure its success in Southeast Asia, Taiwan and South Korea, the University of Chicago Press has selected ACCUCOMS to bring it to libraries in the region.

Commercial Director Egon Menardi said, “We are excited to add these two acclaimed publications to our portfolio in Southeast Asia, Taiwan and South Korea. We believe that our in-depth knowledge of the markets, and our people on the ground in the region, will ensure a successful collaboration.”

The Chicago Manual of Style and Scientific Style and Format are already used internationally,” said Jennifer Ringblom, Associate Marketing Director at the University of Chicago Press. “It’s wonderful that another huge area of the world will now have access to them through ACCUCOMS.”
