PLANNER CONVENTION 2014 | THE PROMOTION OF LIBRARY AUTOMATION AND NETWORKING IN THE NORTH EASTERN REGION OF INDIA

The Promotion of Library Automation and Networking in the North Eastern Region of India (PLANNER) is an annual convention arranged by INFLIBNET and various universities from this region. This year, the PLANNER Convention is organised in collaboration with Dibrugarh University in Assam and it is the 9th ever PLANNER Convention since the convention’s establishment in 2005. 

 

WHAT ATTENDEES CAN EXPECT

The PLANNER Convention seeks to promote library automation and networking in the country. Library and Information Specialists have the opportunity to participate in a stimulating forum in which they can discuss current library and information topics. The challenges for re-defining library and information services to meet the needs of library users in the digital era will be the main focus of this year’s PLANNER Convention.
