Accucoms announces new Publisher Representation Agreement with PLOS
This agreement will see Accucoms represent an entirely open access publisher in Europe and Latin America. The first of its kind for Accucoms.
PLOS is a nonprofit, Open Access publisher empowering researchers to accelerate progress in science and medicine by leading a transformation in research communication.
Accucoms will concentrate on introducing PLOS’ flat fees and Community Action Publishing (CAP) models to individual institutes and library consortia groups.
“We’re excited to work with Accucoms on the exciting challenge of introducing new publishing models more widely throughout Europe and Latin America. Their extensive networks and on-the-ground expertise will be crucial to scaling our efforts and building a truly global partnership base.” Sara Rouhi, Director – Strategic Partnerships, PLOS
‘We are delighted to be working with PLOS on this exciting opportunity. Accucoms specialises in working with Societies, and the mission driven aims of PLOS are very similar. We have built a best-in-class global sales team who have deep relationships with institutes and Consortia around the world. As a company we enjoy the challenge of bringing innovative new products, models and services to market, and we look forward to helping PLOS reach this institutional market for the first time in Europe and Latin America.’ Simon Boisseau, Managing Director, Accucoms
