NEJM Group is extending the reach of our leading research, education, and practice products, including the New England Journal of Medicine, NEJM Catalyst Innovations in Care Delivery, NEJM Evidence, NEJM Journal Watch, and NEJM Archive, to more institutions around the world. NEJM Group has developed an agreement with Accucoms to represent its site license products in India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka to achieve this goal. Under the new agreement, Accucoms is responsible for increasing site license sales in the academic, government, and hospital sectors providing local support and information to all subscription agents and customers.

“We’re very excited to begin our collaboration with Accucoms,” said Rob McKinney, global sales director for Licensing & Institutional Sales. “This relationship allows institutions in India to expand the way they engage with NEJM Group services, including their preferred local agents or working directly with NEJM Group Sales. With help from Accucoms, we look forward to developing a deeper relationship with librarians in these three countries.”

“We are pleased to represent New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) suite of premium online resources in the Indian subcontinent. We have witnessed a strong need from the academic, research and health sciences libraries in India to market this niche high impact content to their relevant faculties. There is also a growing demand of purchasing online archives of such publishers as the libraries look to replace print to online thereby providing access to such quality content to their users.

Accucoms has built strong relationships with institutions, as well as major consortia in the Indian subcontinent market and is well placed to further penetrate NEJM online resources to the libraries, end-users, and consortia in this growth territory.” Rakesh Malik, Commercial Director Asia, Accucoms
