Accucoms Latin America kicks off 2021 with Six New Publisher Agreements and Expanded Team

Accucoms has had a healthy start to 2021 with the launch of new clients, a growing team and is proud to announce the official representation in Latin America for the following publishers:

  • AIP Publishing – renewed and expanded agreement
  • American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) – new agreement
  • Bioscientifica – new agreement
  • Proceedings of the National Academy of Science (PNAS) – expanded agreement
  • The Royal Society – new agreement
  • Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) – new agreement

These new agreements will reinforce the publishers’ presence in the region with a focus on market growth. Accucoms Latin America has strong relationships with organizations such as CAPES in Brazil, CONRICyT in Mexico and MINCyT in Argentina to name a few. Accucoms has the knowledge, experience and ability to hold subject specific training sessions as well as bringing together researchers and authors with publishers by way of author training sessions targeting specific subject areas such as health, science and mathematics. Our marketing is designed with the regional market in mind focusing on country specific campaigns and social media in local languages targeting library decision makers, researchers, and key consortium contacts.

With this exceptional client growth, Accucoms is also investing in its local team with the addition of a newly created account executive, Rodrigo Melo dos Santos. Rodrigo is based in São Paulo, Brazil and will work closely with senior sales manager, Julia Rebuzzi, to provide customer support librarians and consortia; conduct training sessions for end users; and oversee a robust social media and marketing strategy.  Accucoms will also focus on growing its presence in Mexico, and will create an account executive position to further support this key market.
