artstor logo26 March 2014 | Leiden, The Netherlands – ACCUCOMS is pleased to announce a new agreement to represent Artstor in Latin America.

An agreement, commencing January 2014, announces ACCUCOMS’ support of Artstor’s objective to provide high-quality digital images in the fields of arts, architecture, humanities, and sciences for teaching and research use at nonprofit educational institutions worldwide. ACCUCOMS will assist Artstor, a nonprofit organization, with subscription activities and customer services to existing and prospective subscribers in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Mexico; facilitating trial access and ongoing site-wide access for universities and colleges. In addition, ACCUCOMS will attend relevant library events and conferences on Artstor’s behalf. By communicating the benefits of Artstor Digital Library participation in local languages, ACCUCOMS will help to make Artstor’s services more accessible to educational institutions across Latin America.

“We are delighted to be working with ACCUCOMS,” said Artstor President James Shulman. “We look forward to furthering our collaboration with Latin America’s many outstanding institutions of higher learning and expanding access to Artstor’s resources and tools for teaching, study, and scholarship.”

Simon Boisseau, Sales Director at ACCUCOMS, commented: “Artstor is just the type of exciting and innovative product that matches our unique sales approach and outlook. We are looking forward to helping grow subscriptions and awareness of it over the Latin American region. Our focus will be to promote not only to individual institutions, but also to the large regional Consortia with which we have excellent relationships.”
