Leiden, The Netherlands – ACCUCOMS has signed another prestigious publisher to join its Aggregagent collections. The leading aerospace publisher American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) has made its content available through ACCUCOMS’ Aggregagent.
ACCUCOMS and AIAA have worked together in several territories for many years, and under the new agreement eight AIAA journals and the AIAA Meeting Papers will be a part of Aggregagent. With an increasing number of journals being added weekly, ACCUCOMS is creating strong subject specific collections for libraries and consortia.
Heather Brennan, AIAA Director of Publications, said “AIAA is pleased to expand our long-term partnership with ACCUCOMS in serving the needs of our institutional customers by participating in the Aggregagent service. This unique service allows smaller publishers to work together in leveraging high-impact content and will give our institutional customers the ability to build the collections that best serve their patrons.”
“Having worked with AIAA for a number years we have a deep understanding of their product range. We look forward to building high-quality aviation, space and engineering collections around their excellent content,” said Simon Boisseau, Commercial Director at ACCUCOMS.
ACCUCOMS’ Chief Innovation Officer Simon Inger said “Having the AIAA on board takes the engineering content in Aggregagent to a new level. We are delighted to see AIAA help pave the way for more leading engineering publishers.”
AIAA has earned an international reputation as the preeminent publisher of cutting-edge aerospace journals and books, and as the leading source of aerospace industry archives, dating back to the early 1900s. Over the past eight decades, AIAA and its predecessor organizations have published over 400 books and almost 200,000 technical articles. AIAA’s current publications include eight technical journals, a magazine, three book series, national and international standards documents, a growing number of e-books and other electronic products, and a full-service, interactive website.
