Leiden, The Netherlands – ACCUCOMS is pleased to announce the signing of a new agreement for the representation of F1000 in Israel, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Oman.
F1000 is a publisher of services for life scientists and clinical researchers. The organization is composed of 5,000 Faculty Members — senior scientists and leading experts in all areas of biology and medicine — plus their associates. The organization’s three main services for scientists and researchers include F1000Prime, F1000Workspace and F1000Research.
Bev Acreman, the Commercial Director of F1000 said of the new agreement, “We are looking forward to working with ACCUCOMS in the Middle East to help us spread word about F1000’s products and the work we are doing to try and change the way science is communicated.”
Additionally, ACCUCOMS’ Commercial Manager for MENA and Turkey, Eyad Mohammad, had the following to say about the new development: “We are glad to introduce a non-traditional product to MENA. Since we already have a great portfolio of prestigious publishers with valuable content in the region, it is now time to provide even more tools to help researchers choose the best articles and to even obtain recommendations from F1000 senior scientists and leading experts in all areas.”
F1000 offers services for life scientists, including F1000Prime, F1000Workspace and F1000Research. F1000Prime provides researchers with a personalised literature service with over 170,000 recommendations from our Faculty of over 11,000 leading researchers and clinicians in biology and medicine. F1000Workspace offers scientists a comprehensive suite of tools to help with writing, collaborating, reference management and preparation for publishing. F1000Research is an open science publishing platform, offering immediate publication of articles, posters and slides with no editorial bias.
