BioOne appoints ACCUCOMS to strengthen global presence

ACCUCOMS, the specialist in global sales and marketing for publishers and societies, is delighted to announce that BioOne, leading nonprofit aggregator of biological, ecological and environmental science research from around the world, has appointed ACCUCOMS to assume responsibility for the sales, customer service and marketing of BioOne Complete in 57 countries across Asia, Europe/Middle East, and Latin America, starting January 1, 2020.

BioOne is an innovative mission-driven organization that serves all stakeholders in scholarly communication, including publishing societies, institutes and independent presses, as well as libraries, researchers and students. ACCUCOMS has deep knowledge and experience serving these stakeholders to enable them to better reach markets around the world, through their market knowledge and strong relationships with libraries. Both organizations recognize an exceptionally good fit in working together.

In the new agreement ACCUCOMS will be responsible for promoting BioOne Complete and increasing site license sales in the academic, government and corporate sectors in countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia, Middle East, Europe and North Africa. ACCUCOMS will also provide local support – in the same time zone and in the appropriate language – to BioOne Complete’s subscribers in all the countries in the agreement.
