ACCUCOMS adds SLACK Incorporated nursing, medical and sports science journals to Aggregagent™
ACCUCOMS is pleased to announce that SLACK Incorporated (“SLACK”), a leading independent publisher of peer-review journals, textbooks, and medical newspapers, has selected 14 of its medical, sports science and nursing journals to join Aggregagent.
With the inclusion of these titles, ACCUCOMS can now offer libraries more than 550 titles from 27 publishers via Aggregagent. Libraries can choose broad or narrow Aggregagent collections of impactful journals that best suit their needs.
Stephanie Portnoy, Senior Vice President of Health Care Books and Journals at SLACK, cited the benefits of this collaboration for smaller publishers. “Aggregagent offers us a cost-effective way to sell our journals alongside society and independent publishers of similar size in markets that have traditionally been a challenge to reach.” She further commented, “We feel confident we’ll see positive gains to our bottom line now that we’re part of Aggregagent.”
“SLACK has a growing list of medical and nursing titles that fit naturally into Aggregagent,” said Egon Menardi, Commercial Director at ACCUCOMS. “We are pleased to enhance our collections with the titles from SLACK, especially in the areas of sports science, surgery, paediatrics and nursing.”
