Classiques Garnier

Classiques Garnier, founded in 1896 and based in Paris, published at first reference editions of French, Greek, and Latin literature. Edited by leading specialists, they were highly successful with scholars and students alike. Starting in the 2000s this catalogue was gradually expanded to cover humanities and social sciences: French and foreign literature, language and linguistics, history, arts, music, law, economics and management, social sciences. All books and journals are published in print and online formats simultaneously. We also offer databases of primary literature, dictionaries, grammars, encyclopaedias, and bibliographies.
